Eligibility Criteria
Applicants must meet the following requirements to qualify for the Mindanao Young Leaders Programme (MinYLP) 2026:
- Be 23 to 30 years old at the time of application.
- Currently live and work in Mindanao, Philippines.
- Be actively engaged with a community-based organization, NGO, or civil society group, such as women’s groups, Indigenous organizations, or environmental movements.
- Commit to continue working with their organization for at least one year after completing the programme.
- Have proficiency in English (equivalent to IELTS 5.5 / TOEFL 46–59; testing will occur during the interview phase).
- Be available for a two-week full-time residential programme component.
- Obtain organizational support to participate in the full duration of the programme (including up to 12 weeks of leave).
- Not be enrolled in another full-time academic or training programme during the Sustainable Development Course (SDC).
- Hold or be able to obtain a valid Philippine passport (with at least six months’ validity beyond the return date).
