    The Google for Startups Accelerator – Canada 2026 is a highly competitive, equity‑free accelerator programme designed to support high‑potential technology startups based in Canada. The programme focuses on helping founders scale their products, strengthen their technical foundations, and accelerate sustainable growth through tailored mentorship and access to Google’s expertise.

    Programme Overview

    The Google for Startups Accelerator – Canada 2026 is a 10‑week accelerator programme targeted at Seed to Series A startups that have demonstrated traction and are building scalable, technology‑driven solutions. The accelerator is designed to provide hands‑on support, practical guidance, and deep technical insights to help startups move to their next stage of growth.

    This programme is equity‑free, ensuring founders retain full ownership of their companies while benefiting from world‑class support.

    What the Programme Offers

    Selected startups will benefit from a comprehensive package of support, including:

    • Equity‑free participation throughout the accelerator
    • Dedicated mentorship from Google teams and experienced industry experts
    • Technical workshops and deep‑dive sessions covering product design, customer acquisition, leadership, and growth strategy
    • Access to Google’s tools, resources, and global network, including early access to selected AI products through Trusted Tester and Early Access Programmes where applicable
    • Product credits for eligible startups to support development and scaling
    • Peer‑to‑peer learning opportunities and collaboration with other high‑growth founders

    Who Should Apply?

    The accelerator is open to startups that meet the following criteria:

    • Startups must be based in Canada
    • Companies should be at the Seed to Series A stage with clear evidence of traction
    • Founders must be building scalable products or services with strong market potential
    • A deep technical focus is preferred, particularly startups leveraging advanced technologies such as AI or machine learning
    • Commitment from key team members, especially a CTO or technical founder, is expected throughout the programme

    Selection Process

    A limited cohort of approximately 10–15 startups will be selected for the accelerator. Applications are reviewed competitively, with emphasis on product strength, technical capability, market opportunity, and the team’s ability to execute and scale.

    Application Deadline

    Applications for the Google for Startups Accelerator – Canada 2026 close on 22 January 2026. Early applications are encouraged.
