About the Opportunity

The programme is a paid, full-time, 10-week summer internship designed to immerse participants in real projects that impact New York City’s growth and development. Interns are assigned to one of the organisation’s diverse departments, where they contribute to ongoing initiatives across areas such as:

  • Urban planning
  • Research and policy
  • Spatial and financial analysis
  • Energy data dashboards
  • Real estate and project management
  • Operational support

Each intern is supported by a manager—often a former intern—ensuring guided learning and professional development throughout the programme.


Eligibility

Applicants must meet the following criteria:

  • Open to undergraduate students, graduate students and recent graduates.
  • International students are eligible to apply with valid work authorisation, including:
    • F-1 visa holders
    • CPT
    • OPT
    • STEM-OPT
