The Innovate For Tomorrow Impact Accelerator 2025 is the second edition of a flagship scale-up programme by a major diversified holdings group, designed to empower innovators to unlock a better future. The programme challenges scale-ups globally to rethink how we produce, consume and regenerate resources across key sectors aligned with circular economy principles. In line with national sustainability ambitions such as net-zero targets and circular economy policy road-maps, this year’s edition invites ventures to contribute meaningfully to a more sustainable and resilient tomorrow.
Challenge Themes
Selected scale-ups should address one or more of the following sub-themes:
- Food Loss & Waste: Solutions that reduce food waste through smarter usage, up-cycling, redistribution or expiry-based pricing.
- Resource Recovery & Regeneration: Innovations that reuse or repurpose materials (construction, packaging, electronics, textiles) to extend lifecycles and reduce reliance on virgin resources.
- Digital Innovation for Sustainability: Smart technologies (AI, IoT) transforming how resources are designed, tracked, managed and recovered — examples include material “passports”, smart sensors, IoT-enabled collection/sorting systems.
Prize Pool & Key Benefits
- Total cash prize pool: AED 850,000 (approx. USD 230,000) for winners.
- First-place winner receives an opportunity to fully pilot their solution within the holding company’s ecosystem, enabled via real-world implementation.
- Additional benefits for the selected cohort:
- A 12-week hybrid accelerator (virtual + in-person) offering masterclasses, mentorship, investor access and ecosystem exposure.
- One-year access to an incubator programme for selected scale-ups.
- Access to a suite of discounted technology platforms/apps to accelerate growth and scaling.
Timeline
- Applications open: 6 October 2025.
- Application deadline: 25 November 2025.
- Cohort selected: December 2025 (approximately top 15 scale-ups).
- 12-week Hybrid Accelerator: January – April 2026.
- Demo Day & Pilot Implementation: starting May 2026.
Eligibility Criteria
To apply for the Innovate For Tomorrow Impact Accelerator 2025, scale-ups must meet the following:
- At least one full-time founder dedicated exclusively to the 12-week programme.
- Willingness and commitment to scale or pilot the solution within the UAE.
- One of the following:
- A functional prototype or MVP;
- Early customer validation or paying customers;
- Pre-seed to pre-Series A funding stage.
Selection Process
Applicants will be evaluated through a structured process:
- Eligibility review and scoring.
- Pitch deck review (traction, clarity, proof of concept).
- Founder interviews (mindset, team capability, alignment).
- Final selection of top scale-ups to join the accelerator.
Selection criteria focus on problem relevance, innovation, impact potential, scalability and market fit within the UAE context.
