    Atlantic Council Turkey Program Spring 2026 Young Global Professionals Program

    Are you passionate about international affairs, research, and policy analysis? The Atlantic Council Turkey Program Spring 2026 Young Global Professionals Program offers an exciting opportunity to gain hands-on experience in one of the world’s most dynamic international policy think tanks. This program is designed for young professionals and recent graduates eager to develop their skills, contribute to global dialogues, and expand their network in the field of international relations.


    About the Atlantic Council Turkey Program

    The Atlantic Council is a leading nonpartisan organisation that promotes constructive leadership and engagement in international affairs. The Turkey Program focuses on advancing dialogue and policy research around Turkey’s role in regional and global contexts. Through this initiative, the Atlantic Council fosters collaboration and understanding among policymakers, scholars, and the public.

    The Spring 2026 Young Global Professionals Program provides participants with the opportunity to engage directly with policy experts, contribute to impactful research, and gain exposure to high-level events and discussions shaping the transatlantic relationship.


    Application Deadline

    Deadline: November 3, 2025 (12:59 am ET)
    Applicants are encouraged to apply early, as the selection process is competitive and positions are filled on a rolling basis.


    Location and Work Schedule

    Successful candidates must be based in Turkey, specifically in Istanbul or Ankara, for the duration of the program. Participants are expected to work full-time (40 hours per week) during the Spring 2026 term.


    Responsibilities

    Young Global Professionals will play an integral role in supporting the Atlantic Council Turkey Program’s initiatives. Responsibilities include:

    • Conducting in-depth research to support program activities and publications.
    • Managing logistical arrangements for events, meetings, and policy discussions.
    • Maintaining and updating the program’s contacts database.
    • Drafting professional correspondence, including invitations and official communications for events.
    • Tracking internal and external developments relevant to the Turkey Program’s work.
    • Assisting in promoting events, press mentions, and publications through digital platforms.

    This position offers a unique opportunity to work alongside experienced professionals, contribute to meaningful projects, and develop a nuanced understanding of international policy processes.


    Eligibility and Preferred Qualifications

    To be eligible for the Atlantic Council Turkey Program Spring 2026 Young Global Professionals Program, applicants must meet the following criteria:

    • Language Proficiency: Professional-level proficiency in English and Turkish is required.
    • Education: Applicants should be at least a college senior in good standing, a graduate student, or a recent graduate. Preferred fields of study include international affairs, economics, or related disciplines.
    • Skills: Strong research, writing, and communication skills are essential. Candidates should be detail-oriented, professional, and capable of working in a fast-paced environment with senior officials and experts.
    • Preferred Experience: Familiarity with digital communications and website management is a plus.
