    Deadline: October 26, 2025

Are you a young Nigerian passionate about using digital innovation to solve real-world problems in Agriculture, Health, or Education? The United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) Digital for Youth-Led Enterprise Programme 2025 is a fully funded opportunity designed just for you.

This unique initiative empowers young innovators to co-create solutions, build prototypes, and connect with experts who can help transform ideas into impact-driven enterprises.

About the UNDP Digital for Youth-Led Enterprise Programme 2025

The UNDP Digital for Youth-Led Enterprise Programme 2025 is a five-day, in-person design thinking sprint taking place in Abuja, Nigeria, from 10 – 14 November 2025.

Organised by the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP), the programme aims to support young Nigerians aged 18–35 who are ready to leverage technology to tackle pressing challenges in Nigeria’s priority sectors — Agriculture, Health, and Education.

    Programme Overview

Participants will work in small multidisciplinary teams — six teams of five people (two per sector). Each team will:

    • Analyse systems within their chosen sector to understand real challenges.
    • Define a problem statement and design digital solutions.
    • Ideate, prototype, and test their proposed solution.
    • Develop a plan for a Minimum Viable Product (MVP).

At the end of the sprint, teams will pitch their prototypes to a review panel of experts. The most promising solutions will be connected to mentorship, incubation, and potential seed-funding opportunities.

All expenses — including travel, accommodation, and meals — are fully covered for selected participants.

    Who Can Apply

    To be eligible, applicants must:

    • Be Nigerian citizens or residents aged 18–35 years.
    • Be students, recent graduates, early-stage entrepreneurs, professionals, or digital enthusiasts with a passion for technology, innovation, and social impact.
    • Have an interest or experience in one of the target sectors: Agriculture, Health, or Education.

Applications will be evaluated based on:

    • Originality and creativity of the idea.
    • Relevance to Nigeria’s digital transformation agenda.
    • Feasibility and scalability of the proposed solution.
    • Clarity of problem understanding and motivation.
    • Diversity factors, including gender, geography, and background.

    Benefits of the Programme

    Selected participants will enjoy:
✅ Full funding for travel, meals, and accommodation.
✅ Practical, hands-on experience in design thinking and innovation.
✅ Mentorship and incubation opportunities to advance their ideas.
✅ Access to seed funding pathways and support from UNDP’s innovation ecosystem.
✅ Networking with like-minded young innovators, experts, and potential investors.

This programme is a unique opportunity to turn your digital idea into a tangible enterprise that contributes to Nigeria’s sustainable development goals.
