The Atlantic Fellows for Social and Economic Equity Programme 2026–2027 at the London School of Economics and Political Science (LSE) is now open for applications! This prestigious, fully funded opportunity is designed for mid-career leaders committed to building fairer and more inclusive societies through bold ideas and practical solutions.

About the Atlantic Fellows for Social and Economic Equity Programme 2026–2027

Hosted by LSE’s International Inequalities Institute, the Atlantic Fellows for Social and Economic Equity Programme 2026–2027 offers a unique learning experience for change-makers who want to deepen their understanding of inequality and strengthen their capacity to create real-world impact.

The programme brings together practitioners, activists, policy-makers, movement-builders, and researchers from across the globe to explore the root causes of inequality and co-create solutions for social and economic justice.

    Programme Structure

The fellowship runs under two main tracks:

    1. Residential Track (London-based)

    • Fellows spend one year in London pursuing the MSc in Inequalities and Social Science at LSE.

    • Ideal for those who wish to combine advanced academic training with hands-on experience and global networking.

    2. Non-Residential Track (Global)

    • Fellows remain in their home countries while working on a practice-based project addressing inequality in their communities or regions.
    • Participants undertake both online and in-person learning modules and earn a Postgraduate Certificate in Social and Economic Equity.
    • Best suited for professionals who cannot relocate but are leading impactful initiatives in their local contexts.
