    About the University of Nottingham Developing Solutions Masters Scholarship 2026–2027

    The University of Nottingham Developing Solutions Masters Scholarship 2026–2027 is designed for students who are committed to making a difference. Launched to support future leaders and change-makers, the scholarship provides either 50% or 100% tuition fee coverage for one-year, full-time master’s programmes at the University of Nottingham, UK.

    The scholarship is open to students applying for eligible master’s or MRes courses across selected faculties, with a clear focus on using their education to solve pressing economic, social, environmental, or political issues in their home countries.


    Scholarship Benefits

    Successful applicants will receive:

    • 50% or 100% tuition fee coverage for full-time master’s programmes.
    • Funding for one academic year (2026–2027).

    Eligible Faculties and Programmes

    • All African nations
    • Selected Commonwealth countries including (but not limited to):
      • India
      • Pakistan
      • Nepal
      • Bangladesh
      • Sri Lanka
      • Small Island Developing States
      • Other eligible nations as defined by the University of Nottingham

    Applicants must also be classified as overseas students for fee purposes.


    Eligibility Criteria

    To be eligible for the Developing Solutions Masters Scholarship 2026–2027, applicants must:

    1. Be domiciled in Africa, India, or one of the selected Commonwealth countries.
    2. Be classified as an overseas student for tuition fee purposes.
    3. Hold an offer to start a full-time master’s (including MRes) at the University of Nottingham in September 2026.
    4. Apply to a programme within the eligible faculties.
    5. Demonstrate a strong commitment to developing solutions for challenges in their home country.
