    About the Maurice R. Greenberg World Fellows Program 2026

    The Maurice R. Greenberg World Fellows Program 2026 is hosted by Yale University’s International Leadership Center within the Jackson School of Global Affairs in New Haven, USA. The fellowship brings together a diverse cohort of outstanding leaders from around the world for a transformative four-month residential programme.

    Fellows engage in a rigorous schedule that includes academic exploration, leadership development, and intensive networking. They contribute actively to Yale’s intellectual life while benefiting from the university’s world-class resources and community.


    Programme Timeline and Duration

    • Application Deadline: 3 December 2025
    • Programme Duration: Mid-August to Mid-December 2026
    • Location: Yale University, New Haven, Connecticut, USA

    This is a full-time residential fellowship. Fellows must commit to being in residence at Yale for the entire duration of the programme.


    Programme Benefits

    Selected fellows receive comprehensive support to fully participate in the programme:

    • Taxable Stipend: Covers living expenses during the fellowship.
    • Furnished Accommodation: One- or two-bedroom apartment provided for the duration of the stay.
    • Medical Insurance: Full coverage for fellows during the programme.
    • Round-Trip Travel: Economy class travel from fellows’ home countries to Yale University.

    Programme Activities

    Eligibility Criteria

    The programme targets established and emerging leaders from diverse fields. To apply, candidates must:

    • Be 5 to 25 years into their professional career (mid-career professionals).
    • Be citizens of a country other than the United States. Dual U.S. citizens are eligible, but preference is given to candidates whose work is focused outside the U.S.
    • Demonstrate fluency in English.
    • Be available to reside at Yale for the full programme duration.

    The average age of selected fellows is approximately 39, but there is no formal minimum or maximum age limit.
