Internship Role and Responsibilities
Selected interns will play a critical role in the smooth running of the conference. Responsibilities include:
- Recruiting and managing 40–50 local volunteers.
- Overseeing volunteer logistics and assignments.
- Assisting with registration, event set-up, speaker escorting, and overall flow coordination.
- Monitoring over 100 sessions and workshops to ensure timing, room readiness, and speaker needs are met.
- Providing audiovisual and technical support for presentations.
- Taking on additional tasks as assigned, requiring flexibility and adaptability.
Time Commitment
- Pre-conference (Nov 2025 – Feb 2026): Participate in virtual meetings and support volunteer preparations.
- On-site (Feb 15–19, 2026): Be available daily from 7:00 AM to 8:00 PM (with scheduled breaks).
