The Nordic Scholarship Programme 2026 is now open for applications, offering a unique opportunity for Master’s students, PhD candidates, and postdoctoral researchers in the Social Sciences and Humanities to further their Africa-oriented research. The programme, hosted at the Nordic Africa Institute (NAI) in Uppsala, Sweden, provides one month of intensive academic engagement, networking, and research support.

This scholarship is designed to strengthen Africa-related scholarship in the Nordic countries and build collaboration between young researchers and the academic community at NAI.
