    About the Grant

    The JournalismFund Professional Development Grants aim to support enabling activities and services that foster high-quality environmental investigative journalism. Through this programme, incorporated organisations and institutions can access funding to design and deliver training, mentorship, and other professional development projects that improve the skills and resilience of environmental journalists.

    The scheme is made possible with support from Arcadia, a charitable fund of Lisbet Rausing and Peter Baldwin, which backs initiatives that preserve cultural heritage and protect the environment.

    • Available per Call: Approximately €84,000 distributed among successful proposals
    • Funding Purpose: Capacity-building, training, and other professional development activities tailored to environmental investigative journalism

    Eligibility Criteria

    • Only incorporated legal entities (e.g., organisations, non-profits, companies, or institutions) are eligible to apply.
