    International Civil Society Week Journalist Fellowship 2025

    Are you a journalist passionate about civil society, democracy, and global development? Applications are now open for the International Civil Society Week Journalist Fellowship 2025, an exciting opportunity for media professionals to participate in one of the world’s most dynamic gatherings of civil society leaders.

    Organised by CIVICUS, the global civil society alliance, in collaboration with the Asia Democracy Network (ADN), this fellowship offers selected journalists the chance to travel to Bangkok, Thailand, for full participation in International Civil Society Week (ICSW) 2025, scheduled for 1–5 November 2025.


    About the Fellowship

    The International Civil Society Week Journalist Fellowship 2025 is a fully funded programme designed to strengthen independent journalism and amplify civil society voices worldwide. Fellows will have the unique opportunity to cover sessions, interview global leaders, and report on key discussions shaping democracy, human rights, and civic participation.

    This fellowship recognises the critical role of the media in fostering transparency, accountability, and public engagement. Selected fellows will be part of a vibrant community of advocates, activists, and changemakers committed to building a more just and inclusive world.

    • Be available to travel to Bangkok from 1–5 November 2025.
    • Demonstrate strong writing, reporting, or broadcasting skills.
    • Commit to producing content related to ICSW 2025 for their media platform or publication.
