Canadian Youth Delegate for Global Health Program 2026

    Deadline: September 7, 2025

Are you a young Canadian passionate about global health, international policy, and youth engagement? Applications are now open for the Canadian Youth Delegate for Global Health Program 2026, offering young professionals and students the opportunity to represent Canadian youth voices in international health governance.

This programme is a unique platform to gain first-hand experience in diplomacy, contribute to Canada’s global health agenda, and engage with international organisations such as the World Health Organization (WHO), the Pan-American Health Organization (PAHO), and the United Nations (UN).

The Canadian Youth Delegate for Global Health Program 2026 ensures that youth perspectives are included in Canada’s preparations and participation in key global health meetings, strengthening both policy and practice at home and abroad.

    Programme Overview

    • The WHO Executive Board
    • The World Health Assembly (WHA)
    • The PAHO Directing Council and Executive Committee
    • The UN General Assembly High-Level Meetings

Delegates advise on policy positions, provide youth insights, and help ensure Canada’s international health engagement reflects diverse perspectives.

    Financial Support

Selected youth delegates will receive full financial support for participation. While delegates may initially cover some expenses, the programme guarantees reimbursement of all travel, accommodation, and per diem costs.
