    Through expert mentorship, immersive training, and a robust pan-African network, the ELISA Business Scholars Programme 2025 is your gateway to scaling with clarity, confidence, and community.


    What is the ELISA Business Scholars Programme?

    The ELISA Business Scholars Programme is a high-impact, Africa-focused entrepreneurship development initiative. It brings together ambitious founders with seasoned global business coaches for an intensive 3-day in-person training and one year of structured mentorship.

    Organised by the ELISA Network, the programme supports innovators seeking to build sustainable businesses that create jobs and drive inclusive economic growth across African countries.


    Key Dates for the 2025 Cohort

    • Applications Open: 1 December 2024
    • Deadline for Submission: 31 August 2025
    • Final Selection Announced: 15 September 2025
    • In-Person Training in Hwange, Zimbabwe: 18–21 November 2025

    Who is Eligible to Apply?

    To be eligible for the ELISA Business Scholars Programme 2025, applicants must:

    • Be founders or co-founders of a business impacting an African economy
    • Be residing in an African country
    • Be committed to monthly mentoring sessions via Zoom, WhatsApp, or Google Meet
    • Note: Past Scholars are not eligible to reapply

    What Do Scholars Receive?

    A 2-day in-person learning session with business leaders, covering key topics such as:

    • Investor readiness
    • Financial modelling

    Travel and Accommodation
