About the L’Oréal Groupe Sustainable Innovation Accelerator Programme 2025

The L’Oréal Groupe Sustainable Innovation Accelerator Programme 2025 was launched on 23 June 2025 as part of L’Oréal’s wider L’Oréal for the Future roadmap. It seeks to identify and support innovations that can significantly advance sustainability performance in the beauty and cosmetics industry and beyond.

The programme is powered by a strong partnership with the University of Cambridge’s Institute for Sustainability Leadership (CISL), through its Canopy innovation team. This ensures participants gain access to world-class mentorship, pilot opportunities, and a global sustainability network.


Programme Focus Areas

Applicants are expected to align their solutions with one or more of the following seven thematic areas:

  1. Low‑carbon and climate-smart technologies
  2. Water-resilience solutions
  3. Nature-based solutions
  4. Alternative ingredients and materials
  5. Eliminating fossil‑plastic use and plastic waste
  6. Circularity and resource management
  7. Sustainable and inclusive business models
