About the Training Programme

The African Union’s International Centre for Girls and Women’s Education in Africa (AU CIEFFA), in partnership with ImpactHER, is organising the 2025 Online Capacity Building Training under the theme:

“#AfricaEducatesHer – Digital Skills for All: Bridging the Gender Gap in STEAM, Financial Literacy, and Entrepreneurship”

This dynamic, fully virtual training will take place in monthly cohorts starting in September 2025, offering young African leaders foundational knowledge and practical skills in:

  • STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, Mathematics)
  • Digital literacy
  • Financial literacy
  • Entrepreneurship
  • Gender-responsive education

Who Should Apply?

The programme is open to young African men and women (both on the continent and in the diaspora) who:

  • Are citizens of an African Union Member State
  • Have a reliable internet connection and device (smartphone, tablet, computer)
  • Show a commitment to advancing girls’ and women’s education
  • Are fluent in English, French, or Portuguese
  • Are motivated to learn about gender equality, digital tools, and entrepreneurship
