    The RevUp Women Initiative: Nigeria Edition 2025 is now open for applications! Designed to empower female entrepreneurs in Nigeria, this 12-week hybrid acceleration programme is a game-changer for women-led businesses in agribusiness and e-commerce.

    Following a successful pan-African rollout, this Nigeria-specific edition is now targeting female entrepreneurs in Lagos, Abuja, and Abia State, providing them with access to funding, training, mentorship, and growth opportunities.


    About the RevUp Women Initiative: Nigeria Edition 2025

    The RevUp Women Initiative: Nigeria Edition 2025 is spearheaded by AfriLabs, with support from the Visa Foundation. It builds on the initiative’s strong track record across Africa, where 459 women entrepreneurs were previously supported, 2,426 jobs created, and ten founders awarded $10,000 each in funding.

    This edition seeks to deepen the impact in Nigeria by focusing on two key sectors: e-commerce and agribusiness, offering direct support to 150 women-led businesses.


    Who Should Apply?

    To be eligible, applicants must meet the following criteria:

    • Be a female entrepreneur owning at least 51% of the business and holding the position of CEO or equivalent
    • Business must be registered in Nigeria, and operate within Lagos, Abuja, or Abia State
    • Operate in either agribusiness or e-commerce
    • Have a viable product or service already in the market
    • Business must have been in operation for at least 3 years
    • Provide proof of existing sales and growth potential

    Programme Benefits

    Successful applicants to the RevUp Women Initiative: Nigeria Edition 2025 will gain:

    • A share of the $24,000 funding pool, including:
      • 3 grants of $5,000 each for first-place winners
      • 3 grants of $3,000 each for runners-up
    • Access to intensive enterprise development training
    • Tailored mentorship from industry experts
    • Visibility within the AfriLabs network and opportunities for investment
    • Exposure to scale-up ecosystems across Africa

    1. Government-issued ID (National ID, international passport, or voter’s card)
    2. Certificate of Business Registration
    3. Pitch deck (in PDF or PowerPoint format)
    4. Introduction video (maximum of 3 minutes, MP4 format) highlighting the founder and the core team
