What Is the Africa Impact Fundraising (AIF) Grant?

The Africa Impact Fundraising (AIF) Grant is an initiative of the New Africa Fund designed to equip African organisations with practical fundraising skills, support, and direct financial incentives.

Through a structured programme, selected participants receive expert-led training, take part in a 30-day small-donor campaign challenge, and can qualify for up to $5,000 USD in matching funds. Top performers will also be invited to a week-long residential fundraising and capacity-building workshop in Kigali, Rwanda.

    • 💸 Matching Funds up to $5,000: Successful participants in the 30-day challenge are rewarded with financial matches based on funds raised.
    • 📍 In-Person Workshop in Kigali: Up to 10 high-performing organisations will attend an intensive 1-week fundraising and organisational development workshop in Rwanda.
    • 📂 Fiscal Sponsorship: All 70 selected organisations receive 12 months of free fiscal sponsorship from the New Africa Fund, with potential for extension.
