About the WISER Africa Co‑Production Fellowship 2025

Fellowship Regions and Host Institutions
Three fellowships will be awarded, one per African sub-region:

- Southern Africa – Hosted in eligible Southern African countries.

Southern Africa

West Africa
Applicants must be nationals of:
Burkina Faso, Chad, Mali, Mauritania, Niger, Senegal
Additional Requirements:
- Must be hosted by a relevant academic or research institution (East & Southern Africa).
- For West Africa, must be eligible to be hosted by AGRHYMET.
- Strong interest or experience in co-production, stakeholder engagement, or indigenous knowledge systems is an asset.
Fellowship Objectives
The fellowship is designed to:
- Strengthen co-production capacity within regional meteorological and climate service centers.
- Facilitate stakeholder engagement to co-design climate service priorities.
