    About the AWIEF Awards 2025

    Established in 2016, the AWIEF Awards 2025 aim to amplify the work of exceptional African women leaders in entrepreneurship and innovation. These awards shine a spotlight on women whose ventures contribute meaningfully to social and economic development, gender equality, and sustainable growth in Africa.

    AWIEF seeks to acknowledge visionary leadership and to inspire the next generation of female entrepreneurs through these awards.

    There are eight competitive award categories in the AWIEF Awards 2025:
