Hosted by Social Nest Foundation as part of The Gap in Between event, this challenge provides top visibility, mentorship, and investor connections across key themes.


    What Is The Gap in Between Startup Challenge 2025?

    The The Gap in Between Startup Challenge 2025 is a global pitch competition highlighting startups that drive positive social or environmental impact while maintaining sustainable business models. Organizers will select the 20 best startups globally to pitch on stage at The Gap in Between Summit in Valencia, Spain, on 8 October 2025.

    Winners include:

    • 1 Global Winner: €10,000
    • 5 Thematic Finalists: Recognition in themes such as food systems, social inclusion, energy transition, circular economy, and finance reform.

    Who Should Apply?

    Startups should meet the following criteria:

    • Legally registered with an MVP and market traction
    • Building a sustainable business model
    • Operating in one of these impact sectors:
      • Biodiversity, circular economy, climate, clean energy
      • Education & training, inclusive tourism, health access
      • Agriculture, water, green mobility, sustainable infrastructure
      • Social inclusion, forest repopulation, fashion, fishing, SaaS for good, and more

    Selected startups will receive:

    • A €10,000 global grand prize
    • Pitch opportunity before investors, corporates, and media
    • Booth space and visibility at the Summit
