    Women in Ag Award 2025

    The prestigious Women in Ag Award 2025 is now open for entries, inviting women across the globe who are shaping the future of agriculture through innovation, leadership, and advocacy. Organized by the Deutsche Landwirtschafts-Gesellschaft (DLG) and Women in Ag Magazine, this award honors outstanding women making a meaningful impact in farming, agribusiness, education, and agricultural technology.

    The Women in Ag Award 2025 highlights excellence in four categories and offers global visibility for women leaders committed to transforming the agricultural landscape.


    About the Women in Ag Award 2025

    The award aims to spotlight and celebrate women in agriculture, providing them with a platform to share their stories, inspire others, and connect with global networks. Up to three winners will be selected in each of the following four categories:

    Award Categories

    1. Farming
      For those leading sustainable farming initiatives, improving food systems, or managing modern farms.
    2. Agribusiness
      Focused on entrepreneurs building transformative agricultural businesses, including digital and value-added innovations.
    3. Education
      Designed for educators, communicators, consultants, or journalists who are helping to make agriculture more accessible, inclusive, and inspiring.
    4. Technology & Research
      Celebrates those pioneering new agricultural technologies or producing research with a measurable, sustainable impact.

    Who Can Apply?

    The award is open to women from all countries involved in agriculture and related sectors, including:

    • Farmers and agribusiness owners
    • Educators, trainers, or consultants in agriculture
    • Researchers and innovators
    • Journalists, bloggers, and social media influencers in the agricultural space

    Applicants must fit into one of the four award categories listed above.


    Application Requirements

    Interested candidates must prepare and submit the following:

    • A completed application form
    • A portrait photo and at least two high-resolution images depicting their agricultural work
    • A short video (up to 2 minutes) explaining their role in agriculture (in any language, with English subtitles)
