What Is the Zayed Sustainability Prize?
Launched in 2008 in honour of the UAE’s founding father, Sheikh Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan, the Zayed Sustainability Prize recognizes pioneering solutions in six critical areas of sustainable development. Over the years, it has awarded more than $20 million to 128 winners and positively impacted over 400 million lives worldwide.

- SMEs & NPOs: Must demonstrate a functional solution with measurable impact.
- Startups: Should have proof of concept and an innovative, scalable model.

Prize Funding
- $1 million USD awarded per category (Health, Food, Energy, Water, Climate Action).
- $150,000 USD per region for Global High Schools (six regions total).
Key Dates
- Application Opens: February 2025
- Deadline: 23 June 2025 at 5:00 PM EST
- Awards Ceremony: January 2026 in Abu Dhabi
